Got it and will do – thanks!
Wow, thanks Chad! Yeah, I was thinking of no cabinet bottom/deck but with doors. I don’t know if you should create a whole separate product just for me though! I’m still trying to figure out options of what to do and would hate for you to make that special!
Thanks for that Chad – totally makes sense and helps me with my design! I guess that means that if I have a combination of B1D1DR and B1D in a row, the top rails wouldn’t technically match in height. I’ll have to look at a few examples in your gallery and see if it looks funny or not.
And thanks for the extra picture with the narrow doors – I was wondering about those too for the stiles!
If we want to use a third party trash or pullout system, and we order a B1D, it looks like I have to choose a hinge side, but I don’t want hinges in this case. Do I just add a note later in the order process to not drill any holes for these doors?
I will be ordering other B1Ds, so I wasn’t sure how exactly to distinguish them (or maybe it doesn’t matter – but I will need hinges on some of those B1Ds).
Just to confirm – would the 5 piece panelized front for a Shaker style drawer (like the one on a B1D1DR) have 2-5/8″ stiles on the top and bottom too? Wouldn’t that make the space in the center super tiny? Can you post a picture of what the drawer looks like with a Shaker panelized front? Thanks in advance.
OK, dumb question, but is the height of a full door for a standard 34.5″ base cabinet 30.25″? I saw a dimension on one of your other cabinets, but I thought I better confirm. Thanks.
Thank you for the reply – what about my Flat Light Valance and the Hynek bathroom cabinet color questions?
OK, thanks! I think I’ll end up using the Rev-A-Shelf tip outs – they have one that has a soft close (and my husband has special requested that). Can I try put this in the Notes section at the end of the order for you to just keep those sink bases with the false fronts loose and not permanently attached?
Oh wow – thanks! I didn’t realize you had that separate site for doors!
Can I ask for clarification of what DJ means? Isn’t the TEXPOSED what you are talking about? Or do you mean that you want roll out shelves but just no door? I ask because I was actually wondering if there was a way to do a TEXPOSED but have a rollout shelf (or two) added to the bottom, but I didn’t know if the rollout shelves could be made in the same color as the cabinet as opposed to maple veneer.
Thanks Chad – for the 3″, I am actually talking about a 3″ “door” which I’m guessing would just be a flat slab with the normal dimensions of a full size base door, just only made to cover what would be a 3″ wide base cabinet. I just need something door-like to attach to the Rev-A-Shelf 3″ pull out from here -> https://rev-a-shelf.com/432-series-vanity? 432-VF30SC-3.
It goes in a 3″ gap between cabinets but at least provides a bit more storage, but it needs a door for the front part.
Thanks for the option for the Hafele pull out – I’ll think about it. The nice thing about the 6″ Rev-A-Shelf is that because it’s not in a cabinet, the shelves are wider because there is no cabinet taking up space, but it is definitely more of a hassle!
I am designing wall cabinets over a toilet, so you will be able to see the bottom of the wall cabinets. I realized that the filler for the sides of the cabinets will allow you to see the gap betweent the wall cabinet and the wall, and of course, the bottom of the cabinet will be maple instead of clearcoat cherry. In this case, should I just order a finished end like you’re saying above to use that as a bottom or is there a different option?
and should that bottom also be 5/8″ deeper of just be the same depth as the wall cabinets?
