Hardware return
Hello! We recently ordered cabinets from you and our order included a Blum hinge. We see that with this hinge, our microwave door at the height it must be installed will be directly at head level and will impeded access to the appliance and block flow. As this is not something you custom made for us but is standard hardware from another supplier (and re-sellable by your company) we’d like to return it to enable the purchase of alternate hardware to help ensure our kitchen renovation turns out well. Can you please provide instructions for how I can return this for a refund. Thank you!

Assuming this was a full kitchen order placed on BarkerCabinets.com, returning the hinges would likely cost more in shipping than the hinges themselves are worth. Hinges are relatively inexpensive, and postage back to our Oregon factory would almost certainly exceed their original cost.
Also, since cabinet orders are priced as a complete package, there isn’t a separate refund that would apply to individual components like hinges.

The special hinges cost over $400 I believe. In our family it’s not insignificant, especially in light of the overall investment we already made in a pursuing a kitchen renovation using your products. I don’t think I would pay over $400 in shipping. Thanks for your consideration.

Which cabinet did you order? Did you happen to select the Aventos HK-XS?

The price difference between that cabinet and a standard version without the stay-up hinge is only about $60 total. I’m not sure where the $400 hinge number came from, but wanted to clear that up.
