Hi. What is the depth of the Hafele shelves? I ask because my tall pantry will be 26” deep, and I wasn’t sure if having the Hafele would result in wasted space. Also, I noticed the only option for cabinet is the standard recessed toe kick. I was thinking of making this a flush cabinet – is this an option, or is it not possible due to the manner in which the device is connected? Thanks!

Sure, the shelves sit back into the cabinet by about 21″. So there will always be a bit of wasted space there as the shelves depths cannot be made deeper. See here for pics.

Thanks, very helpful! Can this be ordered with flush toe?

Yes, I have just added the option to have the toe kick ordered in a flush configuration.

I find myself in the position of having to order a single 84″-tall Hafele pull-out pantry, as I cannot find a way to stack two of them in my height space (94″).

My question is this: do more shelves come with the taller options? If not, can they be added to the order in some way?

At 84″ tall, the pantry pullout would include six total shelves. These are typically spaced evenly, though the upper portion may not allow for a shelf positioned all the way at the very top.

Häfele does offer an extension kit that allows the upper shelves to be mounted higher. However, this extension is not included with our standard pantry pullout unit and would need to be ordered separately after the cabinet arrives.

You can purchase this extension directly from Häfele or through most online hardware vendors.

Hi, coming back to this one. For a Hafele pullout that is 69” h, will the door be required to be 3 panel configuration? Thanks!

Yes, any door over 48″ tall is automatically built with a mid-rail. This rail provides stability, as a tall door built without a rail halfway up would flex too much and the panels would not remain stable. Warping is also a factor, since the vertical stiles need a point of contact for support at that height.
