Finished top measurement
I plan on ordering a custom cabinet for a pantry. I also plan on ordering a finished top to go on top of the cabinet, when inputting the measurements for the top do I need to take into account any overhang on the width? For example if my base cabinet is 36in wide, will the finished top also be 36in wide or will there be overhang on the width?
My exact measurements I’m looking for a cabinet is 36in wide and 16in deep and then looking to obtain a top as well, just need to make sure to account for any width overhang.

The size entered when ordering the top is the exact size you will receive out of the box. Be sure to enter the final dimensions, including all necessary overlaps and overhangs.
