Finished Paneling Adjacent to Raised Wall Cabinet Above Sink
If would like to raise the cabinet above the sink 6″ higher than adjacent cabinets (24″ instead of 18″) to allow for better clearance. I believe that means I will need to finished end panels for the cabinets on either side of the sink, which are each 42″ tall. If each of these panels is 3/4″ thick (https://www.citycabinets.com/product-p/wfe.htm), and the distance between the adjacent upper cabinets is 3’4″, then I will need the cabinet above the sink to be 3′ 2 1/2″ wide. Am I doing this right?

Yes, that setup looks fine as I’ve seen it done with full-height wall end panels just like you have it.
I’ve also seen projects where the wall end panel stops short and doesn’t bisect the upper wall cabinet. This only works, of course, if all the upper wall cabinets are the same depth. If you plan to bump out or recess the middle cabinet above the sink, then you’ll definitely need full-height wall end panels.
I’ve done it like in the photo below in the past. It works well because you avoid having a seam between the wall cabinets, and it also makes the layout math much easier.
