Can you add doors to a WEXPOSEDBOOKCASE? I saw that you have the usual pull down for “doors” but I wasn’t sure if that was meant for the interior finish of the bookcase.

I am thinking about creating a base cabinet with a counter and then placing this WEXPOSEDBOOKCASE over it, so that the countertop is still exposed but that there would be a closed cabinet above it. This is for a niche area, so the base cabinet and bookcase cabinet would only be about 16″ deep. I am planning to put a small appliance on it, so I wanted a countertop to make it easier to clear and not the bottom of a cabinet. Thanks.

I will need to add that one to make it correct.

Assuming you want no cabinet bottom/deck, then yes, I will need to make a separate product, as the doors need a COUNTERTOPDROP reveal of 1/4″ from the bottom of the doors to the top of the countertop.

This is a bit larger than our standard 1/8″ gap and will ensure the doors do not rub the countertop.

I will add this next week.

Wow, thanks Chad! Yeah, I was thinking of no cabinet bottom/deck but with doors. I don’t know if you should create a whole separate product just for me though! I’m still trying to figure out options of what to do and would hate for you to make that special!

If you are asking about it, then there are probably other current and future customers who will want that cabinet as well 😉

It could be a good addition to expand the available offerings.
