<p>The hinge cup cuts into the panel area slightly, and that would be visible through the glass. The backside of the frame is also about 2.625&#8243; wide, while the front is only 1&#8243; wide to create the slim appearance while&hellip;</p>

To get a similar result, use Sherwin-Williams Gallery Clear Coat and apply two coats at about 4 to 5 mils wet thickness. A 20 sheen would be the standard sheen we use.</p>

On a top that thick with veneer on every face, the edges and underside might not read exactly like the top surface, so if the bottom will be visible from seating, you may want to ask for&hellip;</p>

There simply is not enough space to create a proper finger-pull edge on the doors because the cabinets use very tight, streamlined reveals of about 1/8&#8243; between doors and drawer fronts.</p>

I would not rely on Chief Architect for exact door sizes. It is not fully dialed in to our construction standards.</p>
<p>I would use Chief more as a design playground where you can get a good idea of what the cabinet will look like. The interior details and individual part sizes are still pretty loose and may not be especially accurate. We&hellip;</p>

Only the small ends on the far left and right are unfinished plywood.</p>
<p>This molding is designed to work well in mitered applications, allowing you to wrap it around corners and use it to finish off various cabinet areas cleanly.</p>

It automatically puts pulls on drawer fronts, so it sees the trash rollout with the front attached as one very tall drawer box and places the pull right in the middle of the panel.</p>
<p>Personally, I would prefer the handle to be located on the top rail of the front rather than centered on&hellip;</p>

Is this where you recommend placing the handle?  Aesthetically we would prefer to place it close to the top.  Ours is 18in wide with the slab front.    Thank you.  </p>

Adding horizontal rails and dividing the center into smaller panels helps strengthen the door and resist warping, twisting and bowing.</p>
