Currently, the skinny shaker style is not available, as it requires extensive hand-cutting of the applied outside molding detail. Unlike a traditional shaker door, the skinny shaker design uses a 5/8″ thick center panel and an unusually shaped molding applied to the outer edge. Each corner demands a precise miter cut, which must be done by hand and requires one of our most experienced craftsmen.
The cost would be quite high, and production would be slow. As a result, we don’t expect high demand for this style — and by the time we could ramp up production, the trend may have already passed.
