        When using a 3 drawer cabinet how much width is lost from the cabinet width for the drawer width. I understand it is due to slides and width of drawer box. Trying to figure out how wide to order for a desk and files. Thanks

          Interior usable width of a drawer box is about 3 1/8″ less than the overall cabinet width. See here for an example:
