Are middle drawer boxes shorter than bottom drawer boxes? Mine seem to be two different heights, at least on the one 3-drawer cabinet I am working on. Thanks!

Drawer box heights depend on the height of the order and the opening they are installed into. Typically, the tallest drawer box would install into the middle opening as that will be the largest opening available in the cabinet. Note that the lower drawer front has a larger overhang at the bottom, reducing the opening height of the lowest opening by a small amount over the middle opening.
