Two doors on one cabinet
I will have a 60” tall cabinet that will sit on the countertop. I want the look of a 42” door below a 18” door. Do I need two cabinets stacked or can the doors go on one cabinet? If so how would I order?

In this case, we would simply stack the cabinets on top of each other. We do not offer a single wall cabinet with a separate set of doors at the top. The main reason is accuracy. Cabinet height is always slightly greater than door height because we must account for required gaps and reveals for proper door and hinge operation, which makes designing a single tall cabinet with multiple door sections difficult to execute precisely.
Installation is another key factor. When cabinets are taken to the ceiling, or up to the start of a crown molding package that ties into the ceiling, installing one tall unit with doors can be very challenging. Breaking the design into two stacked cabinets greatly improves installation ease, reduces overall cabinet weight during install, and simplifies handling.
This approach is also easier from a design standpoint, since door height directly corresponds to the wall cabinet height, and it results in a cleaner, more predictable installation overall.
