  • Toe kick question

I’m planning on building my own 4″ toe kicks. For this reason, as I build my cart I’ve been setting the cabinet height to 30.5″ to achieve a standard 34.5″ box + my toe kick. Is this the correct method?

When selecting a 4 drawer cabinet the smallest height selectable is 34.5″. What am I missing?

    Thank you.

Correct. If you plan to build your own platform for the cabinets to sit on, you should order the cabinets with no toe kick and reduce the cabinet height by the height of your platform. Ordering 30.50″ tall cabinets without a toe kick is standard and correct.

For the four-drawer base cabinets, there is a minimum height requirement to ensure we have enough room for the smallest drawer box we offer (4″ tall). If the cabinet is ordered too short, there wouldn’t be enough space for that top drawer.

However, ordering a four-drawer base at 30.50″ tall without a toe kick is acceptable and will not cause any issues.

If the website prevents the height adjustment, simply order the cabinet at 34.50″ tall and add a note at checkout requesting that the height be changed to 30.50″ tall. We will manually adjust it before production.
