Simple question…. on Maple shelfs, are the shelfs solid maple or plywood with Maple veneer ? Again same question but on Maple cabinet sides, solid Maple or plywood with Maple veneer and Maple veneer edges ?

Are you referring to the adjustable shelves inside the cabinets? These are standard plywood shelves with a clearcoat UV-finished maple veneer on both the face/top and back/underside. The exposed edge on the face only is banded with a matching veneer to coordinate with the cabinet doors ordered for that cabinet.

We do not use solid maple lumber for shelves or cabinet cases. Solid lumber is not suitable for cabinet construction and would be prone to warping, bowing, and failure over time. This dimensional instability is precisely why plywood was developed and is the industry standard for cabinet cases.
