Slim Shaker doors currently do not receive mid rails, regardless of how tall the door is. There is not a good way to incorporate a mid rail into this particular door profile. Because of that, the tall appliance panels ordered for the refrigerator shown in your attached picture would look virtually identical to the appliance panel you are showing.
Mid rails are not necessary because the inside edge profile of the Slim Shaker has a fairly severe cut that removes a significant amount of material from the stiles and rails. Even with that profile, the 2 5/8″ wide stile and rail material provides plenty of rigidity to keep the door stable.
In addition, we use a two-piece glue-up for the stile and rail stock. This adds additional stiffness to the frame because the components are not simply cut from a single piece of solid S4S lumber. Yes, this adds some labor and cost, but it results in a more rigid door while also allowing us to produce the stock from narrower lumber, which improves material yield.
That manufacturing process was an intentional part of the Slim Shaker design and is one of the reasons we are able to keep the cost relatively close to that of a standard Shaker profile. Overall, we are left with an excellent door style that has both the appearance and rigidity needed to produce tall panels without a mid rail.
