    Quick question, Chad,

In a new construction home we plan to use your open (zero door) cabinets (18″ deep base, standard wall) in a pantry. I like the natural birch interior and am wondering what finish would look best on the fronts to go with the birch. Thanks!

For a pantry with open cabinets being used as open shelving, the prefinished birch veneer interior will be visible. We don’t use birch for our doors, so we don’t carry a matching edge banding that would make the cabinet face an exact match to the interior.

I would personally recommend using the clearcoat maple edge banding for these cabinets, as it is very close to the birch in both color and grain tone.

Thanks, Chad! That is exactly the tip on the finished fronts I was looking for!
