Hi! I am configuring a floor to ceiling wall to wall piece for our office. We want to use a desk spreader drawer in the middle of the piece. Our plans include a depth of the desk portion of 23”. If we want a way to mount some of our computer ports and Wi-Fi extenders under the desktop (that we’re adding to go over the entire base of cabinets and over the drawer), would it work to order the drawer with a 14-15” depth (instead of the 23” depth) to allow us to under mount these things under the desk and behind the shallower drawer? We just want to make sure that the drawer would still fit with the surrounding pieces if it doesn’t reach all the way back to the wall? Thank you!

Sure, you have a few options for hiding some electrical components behind a drawer. I personally prefer to simply order the desk spreader at say 15″ rather than 23″ in DEPTH. This gives you some room to mount items behind the cabinet with access from underneath. See attached for some options.
