Hi, I just had a quick question about joining the cabinets together. I’ll be ordering in the next couple of weeks and I’m putting in a little research time. I saw the other post on the right screws and sizes for joining and wall mounting, I know that for wall mounting you will go through the stretcher located on the back ,my question is visible cabinet screws when you connect two cabinets together side by side. I’ve searched and didn’t really find any good videos for the frameless install. Would it be like two screws per side at the front top and bottom? Then two for top and bottom in the back? I’m thinking I don’t like the ideal of dropping 10 to 12000 dollars on cabinets and see all the screws after installing. Do you have any tips on an installing method that helps .Thanks

Sure, there are several ways to hide the screws if you truly don’t want them visible when opening the cabinets. Personally, I find that the screw locations are usually discreet enough that it doesn’t bother me to place them next to the hinge plates, on the hinged side of the cabinet toward the front. With a bit of extra effort, you can even hide the screw under the hinge arm itself.
For drawer cabinets, you can tuck the screws under the slides. That said, it’s usually not a big concern since the drawers tend to block the interior view anyway.
As for the rear support screws, you can conceal them behind the cabinet back, underneath the rear stretchers. Keep in mind that this makes it nearly impossible to disconnect the cabinets from each other once they’re installed on the wall—but the screws will definitely be hidden from view.
When attaching cabinets to wall studs, the quickest way to conceal screw heads is by using matching FastCaps. Alternatively, you could use a more decorative cabinet screw with a large pan head. I’ve seen both approaches used, and either one can look good.
