Best way to panel a two sided island
We are building an island as follows:
Front: B1D1DR | B2DR1FFCOOKTOP | B1D1DR (24″ depth)
Back: BEXPOSED | B2D | BEXPOSED (with both BEXPOSED turned 90deg to open on the short side of the island) (15″ depth)
I’m unsure how to skirt the exposed shelves facing the outward sides of the island, as they’ll open directly next to a finished end panel. Would a small piece of base molding covering the toe kick of BEXPOSED align awkwardly with adjacent Finished End Panel – APPLIED DOOR – SQUARED OUTSIDE EDGES – base cabinets? Or is the only way to do shorter end panels with base molding wrapping the entire island?
Thanks
