Apron front sink

No, I would not recommend using a standard sink base for this application because the front of the sink needs a flat surface to butt up against.
On City Cabinets, we have a cabinet designed specifically for this type of apron-front sink, and it works well for most installations like this:

I would make the cabinet opening approximately 8.25″ high, then use 1/4″ shims underneath the sink as needed to bring it tight to the underside of the countertop. Apron-front sinks can vary slightly in actual size, so the shims give you some adjustment during installation.
For the cabinet width, I would go with 33″. That gives you approximately 31.50″ of clear opening width, which keeps the sink fairly tight to the cabinet face on all sides while also maximizing the storage space available in the adjacent cabinets.
