Hi — I want to make sure I’m ordering the right cabinet doors.
I’m looking for a flat door look (not shaker or any framed style), but I’m a bit confused by one of the options in the selection menu.
There’s a note that says “slab plywood – not grain matched.” Can someone explain what that means?
I’m planning to order white oak doors, and I want to be sure I’m choosing the correct option for a clean, modern flat panel appearance.
Thanks in advance for the help!

Correct. Just make sure the door style is ordered as “Slab Plywood” and you will receive slab plywood doors and drawer fronts like the attached picture.
The grain matching disclaimer exists because we do not match grain from one cabinet to another. True grain matching is a completely different process. It is not possible to orient cabinets in a way that ensures perfectly continuous grain across multiple cabinet boxes.
Attempting to grain match across an entire order creates significant liability. If a single door were damaged, every door in the project would need to be remade to maintain consistency in color and grain. In addition, each sheet of plywood can come from a different tree and may vary slightly in tone and pattern.
The disclaimer is there to prevent misunderstandings and avoid compensation requests for a feature that was never offered or priced into the order. Offering true grain matching would increase the cost of a cabinet order substantially.
