For the sink bases with the tip out false front – does the tip out mechanism snap closed or does it also have a soft close?
If you don’t order the tip out mechanism, does the false front just come separate from the cabinet? -
The tip-out mechanism is not soft-closing; it will snap shut.
If the false front is ordered without the tip-out hardware (standard false front), it functions as a separate drawer front permanently affixed to the cabinet ccase. It attaches to the cabinet case from the back side using a plywood backer panel, which covers the tip-out opening.

OK, thanks! I think I’ll end up using the Rev-A-Shelf tip outs – they have one that has a soft close (and my husband has special requested that). Can I try put this in the Notes section at the end of the order for you to just keep those sink bases with the false fronts loose and not permanently attached?

Sure, you can order the standard false front sink cabinet without the tip-out option. When assembling the cabinet, simply do not install the false front backer. All of our products ship unassembled, so you can modify them on site as needed to accommodate your tip-out hardware.
Another option is to order the cabinet with the tip-out hardware and then swap it out. This can result in a cleaner interior, as the screw hole pattern will likely align or be very similar, avoiding extra holes.
