Hi there, I’m wondering if I’m missing the cabinet option to order short wall cabinets. I’m looking for a size below the 12″ listed as the lowest option (not sure on exact measurement yet but between 8.5″ and 11″), and this will be to stack on top of standard wall cabinet.
How would I go about ordering that? And is that short of a cabinet still the same price as the standard wall cabinet?Thank you!

An 8.5″ to 11″ tall wall cabinet is extremely short. At that height, it becomes difficult to hinge the doors properly, and they often sag with no way to adjust them level—especially on wider cabinets. I’d recommend switching to a flip-up door style if possible.
If you do need a wall cabinet shorter than 12″ with side-hinged doors, it can be done, but the doors should really not be much wider than the cabinet’s height. In other words, for an 8.5″ tall cabinet, the doors should ideally be no more than about 12″ wide.
If you’re confident in proceeding, you can order the cabinet at the minimum height of 12″, then request that it be adjusted to 8.5″ tall in the order notes at checkout. Please note that a few small custom modifications like this are acceptable, but submitting a large number of changes across an entire order is not something we can accommodate.
We actually had a similar case recently where a customer placed a large order and then sent over a spreadsheet with dozens of revisions. That order had to be rejected and canceled because it would have caused too many production issues. So, a couple of quick modifications are fine, but an extensive list of changes is not.

Thank you! That’s very helpful. I appreciate you explaining the reasoning, because then I can explain it to my husband.
The widths we were looking at were two-28″ widths, and one 15″ but I understand what you are saying.
While planning out our cabinets that would be the only “strange” request if we do go with that, so nothing extensive.Thank you again!
