Hi there,
I was wondering when we can expect to receive our cabinets after placing an order?
Also, the cart description mentions a “glass door prep,” even though we didn’t select that option. Could you please confirm whether that’s correct?
Lastly, if we order the pure white doors and faces, are the cabinet fronts themselves also pure white? We would want that if possible.4 drawer base cabinet

The glass door prep option simply changes the cabinet doors so that the center panel is deleted and left open. You would then install a glass panel of your choosing into that opening after installation.
Currently, your order does not have this option selected — meaning the doors will be built as standard solid panel doors with a wood center panel (not prepared for glass).
Based on the way your order is set up, the cabinets will look like the attached image. The face of the cabinet case will have a white PVC edgebanding that matches the cabinet doors in both color and sheen. This banding is not painted — it’s a durable PVC material chosen specifically for longevity and resistance to wear.

Thanks Chad,
Just one more question before I order. What would the timeline be for these cabinets?

Sure, expect about 4-5 weeks for raw wood cabinets. About 5-6 weeks for prefinished cabinets.

I can’t wait 4-5 weeks for the base, whereas I could wait for the fronts. Need the bases within 2 weeks. How about if I make the purchase and you send in two shipments? I can pay the extra shipping cost. I imagine that this could work for you guys.

The issue is that we batch all orders together and run them as one large group to minimize waste and material falloff. This process helps reduce costs, but it does limit our ability to expedite individual orders. Additionally, the doors and cabinet case materials are produced simultaneously to prevent items from sitting on our dock waiting for other components to be completed. For these reasons, we are not able to offer a faster production time in this case.

Thanks for your honest reply. It simply means that there is no solution, unless I can make two separate orders and get the cabinets prioritized. What if I buy the cabinets separately, and paint the face myself? Could that be shipped within a week?

Not in a week, about 4 weeks for raw cabinets when ordered form citycabinets.com. That is about as fast as we could possibly make them since all the orders are batched and produced together.
