I am about to install my wall cabinets and was about to put a finished end on one first as I am up against some trim. As I looked at the cabinet, I realized for the first time that the bottom will have an unfinished edge from the cabinet sides where you could see the plywood construction (only for the very edges of course). Has there been any thought on a finished bottom like the finished edge? I realize that both you won’t be typically looking under the wall cabinets as well as the majority of the base is finished, but thought this was odd and that maybe I missed some finished bottom?
Thanks -
Typically, we would add an under-cabinet light valance molding to the underside of the wall cabinets. This hides the light fixtures and cleans up the bottom edge of the cabinets. In this setup, the interior color or material of the cabinet case will still be visible behind the UCL molding.

You can certainly add a full skin instead. This is done by ordering an additional finished end panel or appliance panel and installing it horizontally. However, this eliminates the ability to conceal the light fixtures beneath the cabinet, so it is rarely done this way.

As I installed the cabinets I realize that it really isn’t an issue, but I figured you’d have a solution! If I decide to do something there, I’ll add the valance as you suggested would help too for hiding any lights I may add. Thanks again for your help, and I like the forum, I searched it for my questions, so hopefully others do and find what they’re looking for.
