I can only find finished ends as tall as 96″. I am designing for a built in refrigerator and freezer tower with cabinets overhead and the total height to the ceiling is about 110″. Do you have a recommendation for handling this? I thought about using 2 panels and using some sort of trim piece to cover the seam between them but not sure if that is the preferred approach.

Sure. As you may know, our sheet goods are limited to a maximum height of 96 inches, which restricts our ability to offer a single, full-height finished end panel taller than that. For installations exceeding 96 inches, the end panels must be stacked, and whenever possible, we place the seam away from eye level to minimize its visibility.
If you have a refrigerator side that requires a full-height panel, I generally prefer to align the seam with the bottom of the upper cabinet above the refrigerator. In this scenario, a block or bracket can be used to secure the upper panel to the underside of that cabinet. At the floor and along the back wall, the panel should be cleated as needed to ensure proper stability. The goal with eye-level refrigerator panels is to make the seam appear intentional, rather than something that looks like it is being hidden.
I’ve included a few examples showing how we typically handle tall end panels for cabinet heights ranging from 96″ to 120″. Please note the placement of the seam between the stacked panels, as well as how the overall height of the crown molding increases in scale as the cabinets become taller.
This combination of stacked tall end panels and appropriately scaled crown molding for taller cabinet runs is our recently refined standard and has proven to work very well for professional cabinet
