Is your clear coat a water base or oil base?

For CityCabinets.com we use a waterborne (water) clearcoat. Very natural with no amber tint.

Thank you!! Is the red oak completely natural? Do you use any products to get the red tint out, or is the natural wood clear coated?

Natural wood is coated with a crystal clear finish. Any and all of the color tones will show through. If you want a less warm oak, try the white oak with a clearcoat, as it is my favorite. Also the white oak is the heaviest material we offer, so the doors feel incredibly substantial.
