Thank you in advance for the great support. Appreciate any answers and recommendations.

        context:
I am trying to design for installation of a wall oven mounted in a wappliancecasem that will have the countertop (1.5” thick) top elevation at 42”.

          question 1

Can the B1DRM be built at a height of 10.5”? Or would you suggest other alternatives?

        context (drawing attached):
I’m planning for an island (more precisely a peninsula) that will be 60×48 with L shaped overhang (15”) on two perpendicular sides for seating.

The challenge is I would like the microwave to be under the island so given the dimensions and seating overhang, I am only left with 6-7” for a base cabinet on opposite side of microwave.

          question 2 (for option 1)

Can base cabinets (like the 1BDM) be built in depth of 6 or 7”?
        What about in .25” increments?

          question 3 (for option 2)

Could I use a wall cabinet (like W2DM) as base and build a toe kick/base to use wall cabinet as base?
Would a wall cabinet installed in this manner support load of countertop like a base cabinet could?
Can wall cabinets be build in .25” increments?

          1. Yes, we can build the one-drawer base cabinet at 10.50″ tall. If that height isn’t available as a selectable option on the website, simply order the cabinet at the smallest listed height, then write a note at checkout requesting that the height be changed to 10.50″. We’ll adjust it before production begins. (See attached picture.)

          2. A 6″ cabinet is quite small, but still possible. Just include that request in your order notes. We’ll email you if there are any limitations, though I can’t think of any issues offhand.

          3. Yes, wall cabinets are just as strong as base cabinets. You can absolutely build a platform to install a wall cabinet on top of — this setup supports a countertop just fine and is actually a common approach during installations.

All cabinet sizes can be modified in ¼” increments. While our listed depths are in 1″ increments, we can make finer adjustments upon request. Technically, we can modify sizes down to 1⁄16″ increments, but requesting too many custom changes can make the order invalid, since excessive modifications are difficult to track. For best results, limit custom size requests to three or fewer per order (i.e., avoid listing a unique change for every cabinet, as such orders will be rejected).
