What do you recommend to pull together the end panels the wrap the cabinets? Pocket screws?

Hi there-
General practice would be to clamp the end panels in place to keep them from shifting while installing, and then just drive a few 1.25″ wood screws (not provided) into them from the interior of the cabinet they are being attached to. -

Thank you. The back stretchers on the cabinets stick out slightly proud of the cabinet profile- just 1/16 inch, but enough to create a gap where the side and back panels should meet. I’m considering either removing the stretchers, or using my electric plane to buzz it off flush. Recommendation?

Using rubber mallet or the palm of your hand, you can usually tap them into place to align them exactly. The plywood has a bit of give to it which allows for minor adjustments to the positioning without actually moddifying the part.

For typical wall cab ‘end panels’ (not fridge or other appliance panels), do you suggest attaching the panels before cab is placed on the wall? Or is it best to attach once on the wall?

I would attach them after the cabinet is installed. There is always a chance that you may drop the cabinet during install. This prevents damage to the end panel edges and surface, so less risk of causing an expensive error.
