I have another kitchen to remodel and your cabinets were so amazing the first time we are back again.
The current kitchen is basically 12′ by 12′ and I am thinking U-shape with one point of triangle on each wall. Rather than try to put a narrow work cart or something in the middle, I am thinking of making all the base cabs 30″ deep.
My question: Will it be possible to get pullout shelves and drawers the full depth? I don’t want cabinets that deep without easy access to the back. -
The drawer boxes and pullouts will be 27 inches deep in a 30-inch-deep cabinet case. So yes, you will have very good access to the rear of those cabinets.
There is always a small amount of unused space behind drawers and pullouts, which is normal. The slides require some additional clearance for the rear mounting hook that holds the drawer in place.

A follow up question on the 30″ deep base cabinets. Is lazy susan or blind corner hardware available at that depth? Unfortunately I have two corners in this kitchen.

We can certainly make the cabinets up to 30 inches deep. This would be a customization request that you would add to the order notes at checkout. Simply order the cabinet at the default depth, then request the depth change in the order notes. We will make the adjustment and notify you of any additional cost prior to production.
Please note that the hardware for items such as lazy Susans or Magic Corner pullouts does not increase in depth. The hardware itself is fixed and does not change based on cabinet depth. Because of this, many customers choose to order the cabinets at the standard depth and block out the additional depth as dead space behind the cabinet. This avoids paying extra for cabinet depth that cannot be used as functional storage behind the pullout hardware.
