        Can you put the 2 door upper cabinets directly next to each other (attached) or is it advised to leave space between for the doors to open without hitting the one next to it?

          No space is needed in between cabinets. They can be attached together without he doors rubbing as we use Blum clip top hinges that are designed to allow for the doors to open correctly without rubbing.
